Lots of R&D!

Are you game?

As I launch head first into writing this book, I'm cranking up the r&d.  Stay tuned in the next couple of weeks for an exciting schedule of calls and discussions.  Here are some of the topics we'll be exploring:

  • patterns of conditioning
  • the language of scarcity
  • the languague of abundance
  • the opportunity cost of scarcity mentality
  • the core conditioning patterns for each illusion
  • applying the 4 step Living Into Greatness action process to the illusions and . . .

I'll also be sharing with you a brand new name (!) for the book and the clarity I've gained around the material.

Wanna' be part of the innovation?  Send an email to Elizabeth with "sign me up" in the subject line.  She'll add you to the list.  I'll also be posting updates and notices here at the blog.

Quote of the Week

"We are the hurdles we leap to be ourselves."

Michael McClurg

SearchingThis quote is so perfect for the Illusion of Not Enough.  In our search for more (more evidence, more validation, more love, more money, etc.) we are so disconnected from who we are.  It's all about becoming something, striving for something.  At the heart of all of this searching is the core belief that we are not good enough.

Perhaps the biggest hurdle of all is coming to grips with the concept that enough is enough.  When the change comes from inside us, then we already have everything we need.  Anything above and beyond that is gravy.

What are you hurdling today?

Quote of the Week

"Be Yourself.  It's all that you can do."

- from the cd, Out of Exile, by Audioslave

Okay, so maybe it's not the most profound quote you've ever heard, but this song rocks.  More importantly, every time I listen to it, I'm convinced this is the perfect theme song for Living Into Greatness.

Do you ever listen to a song and get chills running through your body?  Well that's what happens to me every time I listen to "Be Yourself".

Kind of a departure from what you usually read here, but departure's are good.  Come to one of my r&d classes and maybe you'll hear me tell the story of how this song played a big role in bringing my book to life.

Next R&D Call: The Illusion of Hope

Please join me for the next call in the Living Into Greatness series:

The Illusion of Hope

Thursday, June 16th, 7pm eastern

Ok How many times have you truly hoped for something, but were paralyzed to turn that hope into tangible action? Hope in and of itself is not a strategy.  Join Kim George as she explores the next illusion in the "Living Into Your Greatness series": "The Illusion of Hope".  Discover specific ways to identify the expectations, entitlements and attachments that are keeping you from living into greatness.

To register for this call, send an email to Elizabeth.

Quote of the Week

Trumpet "Sometimes you have to play a long time to be able to play like yourself."

Miles Davis

On the Living Into Greatness R&D calls, I frequently talk about patterns of conditioning -- the stories, perceptions, and assumptions of the people and the world around us which gradually have become the lens through which we view the world.

The Living Into Greatness process is about stripping away all the non-essentials in your life -- the attitudes, core beliefs, assumptions and expectations that cloud your view of the world, so that you can finally begin to discover your inherent greatness.

What music is locked away deep inside you waiting to be heard?
