Being Great Today

As I travel around the country, sharing the concept of Abundance from my new book Coaching Into Greatness with audiences everywhere, I'm overwhelmed and gratified at the response.
At one recent presentation up at Smith College in Northampton MA, Linda McDonald, offered this about greatness:
"Greatness is a state of being, not a destination."
This is a profound statement, and captures the essence of Abundance Intelligence.
We are born great. Greatness is not about striving or becoming. Greatness already is.
Repeat after me (don't worry, your monitor won't laugh at you!)
If it's to be, it's up to me!
I'm not becoming somebody, I AM somebody.
I don't want to become great someday,
I am being great TODAY!

This is a great reminder to help keep me out of the illusion of time. Focusing on the state of being great rather than the destination (which is usually about having or doing) keeps me present in today and doing what I can do (in all my brilliance I might add). Looking forward to more updates on your travels! JQ

I love the comment by Linda. What a great reminder to stand in our greatness now not later. Thanks for the aha!
