Is Mediocrity Your Mantra?

A significant theme in Abundance Intelligence® is practicing Self-Empathy – recognizing and celebrating your humanity. We don’t have to wait until the holidays to do this – we can make this a habit year round.
When is the last time you celebrated something about yourself?
When is the last time you felt deep, profound satisfaction with the person you are being in the world?
If you are struggling to answer these questions, there’s a disconnect between your greatness and how you are showing up.
There is only one you.
Are you being a second-rate version of yourself or are you choosing to live into your greatness every day?
Are you settling for good enough when your life could be great? Perhaps mediocrity has become your mantra, and you haven’t even realized it. Worse yet is to know you are choosing mediocrity and feel powerless to do anything different.
How you answer these questions has everything to do with how you see yourself. You already have everything you need, want and choose to be who you are today. If you find yourself rolling your eyes as you read that sentence, ask yourself this:
What are you waiting for to give the world your best?
Only you can be you.
Every day that you choose mediocrity, you not only deprive yourself, you deprive the world. You are here to do great things. No one has ever gotten an award, had a star named after them, or received a medal for being mediocre.
No one has ever been loved because they were mediocre.
You are loved because of who you are.
There’s only one of you. Someone is waiting to benefit from the ripple effect of you being you.
You’re the greatest gift the world can ever receive.
When you celebrate who you are, your greatness shines through like a giant tractor beam – illuminating the world and attracting what is meant for you.
After all, when you are being who you are and doing what you can do, what is meant for you can’t be lost.
