Back to school! Summer is coming to a close – can you believe it? I’ve always loved this time of year. I remember as a kid how excited I was to pick out my pens and notebooks and folders . . . everything color coordinated perfectly. (I still can’t bring my credit cards into an office supply store!) And there was a sense of new beginnings in the air. Even as a little girl I could feel it.

Well, that sense of new beginnings is in the air again! What an exciting time in the world of Abundance Intelligence™ ! Next month I am launching a brand new r&d team as a creative environment for my next book, tentatively titled The Power of Choice.

Several of you were part of the first r&d team when I wrote Coaching Into Greatness. Back then, in the early days, we called it the LIG team (living into greatness). Imagine – Abundance Intelligence™ hadn’t even been thought of when we first began!

For those of you who are new to this concept, r&d teams are used in a variety of ways to create and beta test new programs and material. It is my most powerful creative tool, hands down.

I know many of you have been wondering what I've been up to.

No, I haven't been off following Eric Clapton or the Derek Trucks Band (not every night, anyway)!

Last month we launched the first Certified Abundance Intelligence™ Leader training program. What an amazing bunch of people! The Certified Abundance Intelligence™ Leader program trains professionals how to utilize the Abundance Intelligence™ Leadership Model with individuals to reach greater resutls.

We met in Boston for 4 days -- learning, growing, challenging, and bonding together. There was lots of insight, emotion, and even some fear. Each of us reaches the crossroad where we can choose to face our fear about living into our greatness or turn around and go home. I'm thrilled to say we all faced this together.

The next step in the Abundance Intelligence™ Leader certification program is a 5 month practicum. We are blessed to partner with a wonderful organization called The Memphis Challenge, that will provide the amazing clients for our work. More about them in future posts.

During this week's Abundance Intelligence™ R&D call, we explored the Abundance Intelligence™ Guiding Principle "Freedom is Always Present". Lots of you turned up for a fascinating discussion on this topic. Here are some of the wrinkles we explored:

The R&D Team is back!

A big thank you to everyone who joined me for the start up of the next Abundance Intelligence™ R&D team series last Thursday!

We kicked off this new series on the Guiding Principles of Abundance Intelliegence by exploring the principle

Who You Are Is Everything.

The essence of this principle reminds people to focus on who you are, what your Internal Drivers are, your intuition.

It calls for people to let go of the striving to become something or someone else, and to embrace who they are.

We also explored how this principle shows up in today's leaders - first how they lead their own lives and then how they lead the people around them.

Celebration is in order!

This week's Amazon campaign that I conducted for Coaching Into Greatness was a big success!

With the support of more than 50 strategic partners, the book

hit #2 in Leadership (couldn't seem to squeak by Jim Collins' "Good To Great')

and managed to keep the rank of #83 all week!

Pretty amazing when you realize that CIG is 2-3 times the investment of nearly every book on the Amazon bestseller list!

Above and beyond all that, doing this Amazon campaign is a testament to the power of Social Capital. I am still deeply touched and overwhelmed when I think of all the amazing support I received from so many wonderful people and organizations.

Yes, having a bestselling book is a cool thing.

But what's really something is having the cailber of friends that support and love me.

They've stood by me. They've been a witness to me living into my greatness.

And that's priceless.
